Design. Creative. Interactive. Strategic.
Communication is key. Having worked as a graphic designer in many industries, this phrase is high on the list of company mantras. It is also easily overlooked and put aside. When there are communication breakdowns, a quality designer may just be the person you need to get things back on track.
Some may feel that Visual Communication is only a narrow spoke on the Communications wheel. I've come to understand that verbalizing concepts, clear and concise writing, understanding a clients' needs and helping them understand how to get their message received takes more than just ink on paper or fingers on a mouse. Graphic designers today are idea generators, business developers, task managers, artists, writers, tech geeks, social networkers and decision makers. If you're finding that they're not, I invite you to take a look at my portfolio and work experience.
